warning during fp for several fingers

When I did my fingerprints today in VSC the screen showed Warning for several fingers instead of Pass. I never was arrested and never gave my fingerprints to any authority in the world before.
Is this delay my I-485 processing or is it OK?

Me too ..

Hey,

Even I went for fp today and observed a warning for a few fingers ! And I thought that the match was not perfect so the warning !! And for every warning she repeated the print again till she was satisfied !! somebody please confirm ..

Nothing to worry...

Friends,

My left hand ring-finger had several warnings... the guy who was taking the finger prints asked me to just relax and cleaned few times until the print was read clear.... no big deal. The matching is not done there... and the finger prints will be sent to FBI for matching.

The error comes if the grey scale value (a bit technical, since I'm in the related field... the scan imprint will be converted to a black and white image and the darkest portion of the image should have close to 25 counts and the lightest portion should have 225 counts and if the histogram of the image is not 'peaked' properly.... ) the scan complains of warning... this poor image could (?) not be used as a good sample to compare with other images in the database or return bad results... you guys take it easy.

TIA.

I did my FP yesterday and none of my fingers showed a Pass. We kept getting message Match Warning.. What happens if the finger prints are not clear.. My LUD on 485 has also not changed. Is there any way of knowing that FBI has sent the FP results back?

strange warning messages in fp

My wife and I got strange warning messages like "match warning", "ridge broken". etc during fp.

Is there any one got same experience.

Match warnings are no big deal. If you remember - first the FP of the four fingers are taken together, and later the fingers individually. The matching process tries to match the fingers' FP when taken together vs taken separately. Thats it.

Hi:

If that is the case, I do not think any reasons for not matching individual fingers with group of four fingers and giving " match warning". Is there any one experienced with this kind of situations ?

Please respond. Thanks.

I was told the same by the officer when I did my FP a few days ago.
