War!!!!

Current excuse is WAR, then celebrating victory, then officers will be tired, by that time it will be 4rth July.
They will process few application, in oct yearly audit and then Christmas after Christmas elections so dude there are number of reasons not to work for them. And for us we have only one reason why they should work cause we want GC and for them it is no damn good reason

Don't want to be talking doom and gloom, but this looks like the kind of force majeure that is here to stay for a long time. Security concerns will remain for the forseeable future, regardless of the war length, until the tone at the top changes, which is not likely to happen any time soon. Time to think about contingency planning, while keeping the hope alive.

security is a concern

Looks like the government has its own priorities -

From Murthy Chat (03/17/03) -

Chat User : What is the cause for current I-485 delays in VSC? It takes nearly 4 to 5 months for them to process a month. Is there anybody looking into this matter?

Attorney Murthy : Yes, everyone is aware of the delays but the BCIS states that they do not have sufficient people to take care of the cases. The government is not releasing more funds to BCIS since the focus now is on border patrol and keeping people out, not bringing them into the U.S. as permanent residents.

Border security means BICE and not BCIS.

So basically the money that you and I paid as fees, to get our cases processed, they are spending that to watch the borders. Plain and simple.

May be we will see something +ve in 2004, the election yr

Getting very pessimistic with this admin given their view/stance on immigration.
