Hello everyone,
I am waiting for NIW-based I-485 approval (just started), is it wise for me to change from full-time employee to 75% to pursue a Phd? My lawyer said we would have to produce evidence that I have been continuing my research as indicated in my application. I understand how important it is to get a greencard and make it as painless/troubleless as possible(which is impossible, as you may well know!), however, I feel like I am wasting my time not doing much for career pursuit.
Any insights will be highly appreciated.
