Want to getting married and bring spouse here

Hello,

I am a Green Card holder in US and I want to get married in India and bring my spouse here in US. My attorney told me that it will take like 4-5 years for her case to get approved. Can somebody tell me is there any other fast way to bring her here in US? If not then how long I can stay out of US without loosing my green card. Is it advisable to go back on H1B from Green card so taht i can bring my spouse here

Please help!!!
 
I see no point on you going back on H1B, I don't even know if that's possible. all I know is that that is just gonna make everything longer. Your attorney is right, it will probably take at least 5 years. When did you get your greencard? You might consider the possibility of waiting and applying for citizenship and then bringing your wife here since that will be much easier. I don't see any 'fast' way of bringing your wife here.
