Want to apply EB1(EA) and EB2 at the same time, is it allowed?

Hi all,

I am new here and don\'t know whether this is a stupid question to ask. But I really need help, and any information will be highly appreciated.

I am thinking of applying EB1 (EA) by myself while my company is preparing my EB2 application. Is it possible? I heard several labor certifications were denied in my company and think it might be safe to apply EB1 at the same time.

Does INS allows a person to apply both EB1 and EB2?

Please advise. Thank you very much.
 
only EB1-EA and EB2-NIW, you can apply yourself

The rest, are emplyment-based, so you have to have a sponsor. That means you cannot petition for yourself if employment-based.
