Sorry to post this on this forum.I know this is not the right forum for this question but you know that this is the only forum where i go atleast 4 times in a day...This question is related to my uncle & aunt their daughter is US citizen now.They applied for tourist visa in delhi and got rejected by one of the Ba***** desan.She asked all the document like on what visa ur daughter first entered US,W-2 etc.She sent everything they are well settled and everyone in their family is US citizen now.

My uncle & aunt went to US consulate,delhi and opt for Hindi interview they had all w-2 and sponsorship papers but this Desi lady was not satisfy and asked them to bring her US passport copies,green card copy and first time on what visa she got( she had B1 visa and stayed here and applied for GC on marrige ground) she was never out of status.

This desi lady told them that ur daughter ditch us that she told us that she will be back and got GC and US citizenship.I don't know why consulate appoint those who does not even have knowledge that US citizen can sponsor their parents and they can very well get their GC in 1 yr time. Since they are retired so they do not want to stay here for long time.
Is there anyway that they can still get tourist visa they are 60 and 65 yr old.Sould we contact congressman or write a letter to Ambassador??

Fist of all there is no Desi lady in the US Consulate section and all interviews are conducted only by US consular. All Indian staff is only at front desk. So I doubt the statements of your uncle & aunt or there may be some communication gap.

Asking for passport copy is almost mandatory for applying visa as that will prove genuineness of I-134.

Was she an interpreter?.
