Walk-in to San Jose INS office?

How early should I go to San Jose office in order to talk with the INS officer (without appointment)? Is it still 4 or at least 5 am these days?

For what I heard one month ago. It is true.
On Thursday, it opens only till noon. It is better don't go there on Monday or Thursday!

On the other hand, even if you manage to get in, I really doubt that you will get any useful info from INS officer.

You should rather talk to a lawyer.

fingerprinting in San Jose

I appeared for Finger printing in San Jose on Aug 1st, 02 (walk-in 2 weeks before apointment). I reached at 810am and I was the fist person in line and I was done in 30 minutes.

FP office is different. In that office, they do just FP and nothing else. You can walk into that office anytime and get your FP done (if you have the letter).

I think, he want to get some advice from INS. If you ask me, INS would be my last stop if I were seeking an advice regarding immigration.
