Walk-in to a Biometrics appointment in Chula Vista, CA

Hi Guys,

I've just received the letter for the Biometrics Appointment; it is set for October 8th... but I am gonna try a walk-in today...

my appointment is set for the USCIS of San Diego, in Chula Vista, anybody tried a walk-in there? any suggestion?

if they are gonna bounce me, should I try again another day? Should I come up with a story?

You can go to any ASC center you want. I spoke to the office and they said they don't care as long as you have the appointment letter. Before you go, just in do google and get the address of couple of other ASC centers in your area. Security guard usually ask you if you have an appointment, instead of answering, just hand them your appointment letter. ASC centers are private contractors, I guess the more FP they do, the more money they make.

Everything smooth... :) I did it... and... Happy!!! actually I am saving 3 weeks of useless wait... people... go and try it... nobody asked me anything: when the girl asked me "at what time is your appointment?" I said "I am a walk-in" and she said "ah ok... fill up this... " and that's it... I waited a while... but who cares as long as I saved 3 weeks :)

suggestion: go there in the afternoon during the week... like at 2... there's less people
