Walk In FP/Biometrics Questions

I assume you need the 2nd NOA letter which contains information about the FP appointment to do a walk in FP.

Just a few questions about walk in FP:

1. My district office is Newark, but the NYC office is actually closer to me. Do I have to go to the Newark office to do a walk in FP?

2. Any other advice on doing walk in? Do you think it will speed up the process?

you can only go where you are scheduled to .
the only favor they can make to you is let you walk in......
 
Went for a walk in FP in Elizabeth ASC on Tuesday. They did not let me do it. What a waste of time!
 
Said I couldn't get a day off work. Maybe I should have come up with a better one.

But the Elizabeth ASC does not allow Walk-Ins as a matter of policy. The staff is very rude and unprofessional.

Miss Chang, from previous posts I think you are in Berkeley - right? If so then you are probably doing the bio at Oakland ASC - and in that case you won't have a problem - they are very accommodating there - nice friendly security guard, they give you a clipboard and you get seen very quickly. There is parking right outside.

Yes. That is correct. The one by the airport. My mom did a walk in last year for her GC and didn't have a problem. Hopefully, I won't have an issue either.

I got an email on Tuesday so I'm not really bothered because I believe I'll have it by Saturday/Monday.
