Walk-In for FP?

Do you really have to make an appointment to USCIS centre through infopass even though you are walking in for FP? OR just go to the local office and show the notice you have received from USCIS and ask them to get your FP if possible.

The address I've received is different than the USCIS office (infopass) in my city.

To get your FP done, you have to this support center. This is totally a different office. Please don't confuse this office with your local District office. You don't involve your local DO for early walk in FP. Just simply go the support center. The address should be listed on the notice and request them if they can take your FP a little earlier than the scheduled date. I am sure if they are not way too busy, they will do their best to accomodate you.

Update from my mother

Hi trawal,

Just spoke to my mother in Boston. She got her FP done this morning. The hrs of operation are Tues thru Sat from 9am to 3pm. I thought it was 8am to 4pm, but anyways seems like these are their new winter hrs.
You can try doing walk in FP. They should take you as long as they aren't too busy. If I were you I would try going there around 2pm. By then most of the people are already done coz they usually schedule FP apptts in the morning.
 
Good and most of us agree that wknds are usually pretty slow, so take your chances & I am sure they will accomodate you. Keep us posted.
