I came 9:15 to the INS bldng @ Commerce Dr; they sent me to the federal bldng @ Federal st. 10am I was there.
Short standing line in the 2nd floor office (5-6 people); gave appl+copy485+photos to the officer, then waited for 15 min sitting there; then up to 14th floor to pay $110; then 13th floor.
Then an hour waiting , called to a window. Here was a surprise. I had I-94 came with my last H1ext, she asked me about the whole page. Told me I have to came again, but then she told me she'll try to get it from VSC. I called my wife asked her to find the page and be ready to fax it. No need, the officer told me she got it;
Then waited approx an hour more, then
called, the off told me to check info on the AP, they printed my dob as 1931 (thank you very much), waited 15 min more for correction.
12:20 I got it, I got "Have a great trip" from the officer, and 12:25 walked out the bldng.
Conclusion: doable, no need to came 7am as somebody advised. I'd come 11am next time or even 11:30.
