Need Advice:
I went to the US in April 2004 as a visitor and got an offer for employment. Hence, I changed status to H1B. I decided to go home in January 2005 for some personal reasons and hoped to get my H1B visa stamp in my home country.
The consultate denied my visa and banned my entry to US with 212(a)(6)(?).
I did not appeal for the denial as my employer will not support it.
It has been more than a year since my denial. I let go and moved on. Now, I'm already working in another foreign country. However, my current job will require travel to the US for business meetings.
Is there any way I (or my current employer) can apply for waiver for this ban? How? Please advise. Thanks.
