Waiting...

Don't you hate it? Don't you hate waiting without doing a thing? It's killing me. I must think about something else.

Publicus,
I know exactly what are you talking about! it's boring, it's frustrating! it's UGH!!

Publicus,
Change your focus. In life you (just as on the road) you go toward the direction you are paying attention to. If you just look at this one dark patch of your life(Delayed CZ) then life will itself be bad. Look at other things also - focus on other areas like health, finances, etc . Life is a great compensator. When one side dips the others will take off

If you do have faith then, share some of your burdens with God too. It helps, I've been there and come out of a hole!

Great words but it's hard to follow sometimes. For instance, I am graduating this May and have already been accepted to a graduate program in the UK. I am just hoping that everything will be in order by this fall.

Bashar82 - Plan B?

Bashar,

Do you have an alternative plan - in case you don't get your CZ in time?

Thank you so much for your deep words. They are truly helpful. You are absolutely right. I must forcus on other things, while working on my case.

Well you can always ask for permission to leave the country from INS. Do not rely on them adjudicating your case on time. Have a contingency plan.

Plan B-D

Plan B: Contact the UK school and explain the situation to them and request a deferment of enrollment. LSE is a well known institution and I'd hate to give up this opportunity.
Plan C: Have applied to programs in Australia but will not hear from them for several weeks. Australian academic year begins in March. If circumstances permit, return to Dhaka until my studies start.
Plan D: Apply to American universities for entry in January 2006.
