I had recently appeared for the Interview at San jose INS for the 485 AOS. The officer told me she will not approve the case today since she wants to do the security check. Does anybody have similar experience like this ? All of your help will be appreciated.
My officer said the same thing but then my attorney said that usually the checks are being done the same day and that we were willing to wait. The officer went and did the check, was back within 20 minutes with the passport stamped !!
