I am waiting on the I140 approval. I called USCIS today but could not go any further than the automated stuff. Should I ask my lawyer to file for an inquiry or stay put?

I am in the same boat as you are and I am sure there are more cases like ours for Jan-140. I talked to my lawyer last week and he advised me to stay put till Jan end. If there is no response by that time than he will file an inquiry. Lets keep each other updated.

Same situation. My lawyer has initiated an inquiry. Based on what I gather from her, I would think you guys also want to ask your lawyers to file the inquiry. They will give you a written notice why they havent approved you yet or they will approve you. Nonetheless you will get something from them in 30 days.
