There is no set pattern, and a lot seems to depend on the local office involved. San Jose stampers often see their cards inside of a month, San Francisco, inside of two months, NYC up to three months or more, but there are so many exceptions posted all over these boards that there is no definitive answer. BUT, seeing as the USCIS have published a phone number on their site to call if you don't get your card within 60 days, one can assume that they are at least attempting to get all cards issued withing 60 days, which for you would be by mid-October. After that, you can initiate an enquiry with the NSC, or file form G-371 with your local service center to follow-up on your card.
