Waiting for more than 90 days my Kid's Green Card

I have been a reader of this excelent forum website; which is have been really hepful for me.

I just want to check if there is anybody else with the same situation like mine.

On Jul 17-2007 my I-485 was approved; I received my GC along with it my wife. However I did not received yet the GC for my children, 11 and 8 years old.

Some days after the approval I received a biometric notification for my oldest kid which it was take it.

We have been waiting for more that 90 days the GC for my kids...so now Yesterday I received a letter from the INS where they said that my oldest kid will receive an apponiment notice for biometrics.....around 60 days.....I called to Customer services and they said that maybe the first biometrics has some errors....and suggest me to wait 60 days.....anyway they were not really helpful.

This situation is getting me crazy; since we have not received the GC and we have been waiting for more that 90days.......

Any suggestion I will really do appreciate it.

Has their I-485 been approved? If not, is your priority date still current? Their I-485 can't be approved until your PD is current again, unless they were pre-allocated visa numbers before October when your PD was current. And if your PD isn't current now, it could take a year or more to become current again.

But if their I-485 has been approved, you should make an Infopass appointment to get their passports stamped ask them to expedite production of the cards.

Anyway, don't worry yourself unnecessarily. It is just a matter of time before they get their cards. They are young enough that they won't age out, and your employer can't do anything to jeopardize their cards.

Thanks for your email; Their I-485 were approved, I'm still wating for the physical GC; I went to infopass already; and they created a service however nothing have happend since then.

Anyway I will be patient and wait , INS is a nightmare.
