Waiting for interview

My case was transfered to charlotte local office on April 13, 2004 and I have been waiting for an interview notice since. I see some people get their interview notice within 2 months prior to transfer, I started getting worried because it has been taking so long on my case. Is this normal?, if anyone can give me an advice, it will be appreciated.

You can always try gong to the Charlotte office in person and ask when your interview might be. They may not tell you anything specific about your case, but they should tell you how long the wait is in general.

My suggestion would be the same. Go to Charlotte and ask them chances are they will not give you a date at the spot but the definetly will be able to tell you if your file in being looked by an officer or if its still pending. Charlotte is processing May 2004 cases and as far as I know once a month has passed from the date that your case has been transferred you can go and request a interview date.

If you do decide to go get there early around 6:00am. Anything after that you will have to wait in line which might take you upto four hours. If you go before six you should be out by 8:30
