Waiting for I-485 Approval

Hi all,
I recently received I-140 approval.
I am EB1 on a L1A visa.
I was told that if my I-140 has been approved, I am set, so what then does the I-485 mean?
Please help me clear this up. I dont know whether to jump for joy because of my I-140 approval or wait for I-485.
So far, I have this:
Ead approved
AP approved
I-140 approved
I-485 pending ???????

Congratulations on your I140 approval.
That means..you are half-way through. Now..whether to jump or not is your choice In my opinion, your celebration depends several issues like your home country, FBI name check etc. Technically, when once I140 is approved, you are set..but it might take few months to few years before you get your I485 approval..
