Waiting for I 485 Approval

Hello,
Our Notice date is January 23, 2003. we did FP twice. On the INS website the status is shown as follows.
For me it is saying the LUD is 11/22/2004. On November 15, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. But I don't remember calling them that time. I updated my address by calling them in October. My spouse called and asked for the status on 12/15/2004 just to know the status of the case.

For my spouse case it shows the date of 8/20/2004. The date we did our second finger printing.

Also when I check the status on the phone. It says due to technical difficulties cannot find information. But it is giving exact information as it is on the website for my spouse. Most of the people we know who applied four months after us have also got there approval

The status message "We responded to your request ..." is mostly because of the address change. Technical difficulties with their phone system and other scenarios you mentioned are quite common.

Did you try to initiate an enquiry? Did you try to find if your namecheck is done? Search the forums or look at the sticky thread "important info ...".

what does it mean "namecheck is done"... Can you explain and where do I check it.
