HI, my wife and son came 3 weeks ago to the USA as permanent residents on immigrant visas. It has been 3 weeks , but so far we have not received their green cards. I called USCIS and they asked me if i had received their welcome notice. I told them that we have not received anything from uscis. She then said wait for 30 days and if you dont get it in 30 days , then call us. Im getting worried now. A cousin of mine came 3 months ago and got his welcome notice within 2 weeks and his green card within 1 month. What should i do?
Thanks.

Although I can understand your eagerness, there is no point in getting worried it.

Wait for 30 calendar days and call USCIS and ask for the status of the card and/or welcome notice.

Sometimes it takes earlier and many times it takes longer for the cards to arrive.

Good luck
