If the rumor is true then we are screwed, because the local INS offices are already swamped with family-based cases and the EB cases will only gather more dust while the Service Centers will be able to improve their statistics by removing(!) somebacklog by passing the buck and then starting with new, post-March 2000 cases. Such is the f****ed up ways of INS!!!
Anyway, I am VSC, EB3, India, PD 04/97, RD 09/99, ND 10/99, No FP yet, on my 2nd EAD and AP. Hope this helps all of us in keeping a tab on the actual number of people stuck in limbo.
