Waiting for FBI name check – fingerprints “expired”.

My naturalization case is pending completion of the FBI name check. Meanwhile my fingerprints have “expired” after 15 months. I would like to do the fingerprinting again so then the FBI replies, USCIS would have all the checks in my file and would finalize my case without further delay.

Has anybody tried to ask for a new fingerprinting notice during an InfoPass appointment at the Boston DO?

Please share your experiences.

We're in Los Angeles DO. Last November we did take a fingerprint appnt at DO because the fingerprints were expired while waiting for name check clearance. Still waiting... There is a possibility to do it the third time...
 
For Anahit

Did you yourself ask for a second fingerprinting appt or did BCIS themselves on their own without ur asking schedule a second fp appt.

I already answered this in private mail, but for everybody else interested:
No, we did not ask for it. I mean, before we would, the officer said that he was going to give us the FP appnt.

Did you met the officer in person (like with Infopass) ?

Was this the same officer who interviewd you ?


As mentioned earlier, my namecheck from FBI was completed on Jan 28 2005.

Now I am told CIA check is pending.

No. Just someone who assisted us with INFOPASS appnt.
 
i'm in the same boat as many others in this thread ... name check is pending for over a year now. Is there a contact number / name / address for FBI to check name status ?

Look under "my name check experiences" posted by Raju, he has some very good step by step direction to contact the FBI yourself. Hope this helps
