I'm joyfully married to a USC. both happily living together in Pembroke Pines, FL
I-130, I-485 ND: 04/04/05
FP 05/31, updated on website on 06/08.

By checking October USCIS website priority dates, it seems that for I-485 is now Apr 2004 (having retroceeded from Oct 04!!).
On the other hand, USCIS website priority dates for I-130 is already Apr 2005.

My questions are: how relevant are each of these dates to the actual aproximate interview date in our Miami DO?? how longer should we have to wait? Which should I therefore pay attention to: the I-130 or the I-485 processing times

I'd appreciate any comments from anyone who may have any idea about this puzzle

If you are married to a USC, you dont have to worry about the priority date as it is always current. If you are referring to the processing date, then the timelines published on the USCIS site are pretty flaky and inconsitent.

You should look out for the I-485 timeline as the I-130 would anyway be adjudicated during your AOS interview if it was not already approved.

Thanks ari4u.

You're right... I mean "processing dates"
Dont worry, i had mine filed in Miami as well and it took about a year to get an interview, and those dates for our office on the website are VERY inconsistent, so good luck to you.

Priority Vs Processing?

My wife is married to me a USC and our DO is Miami do we have priority for AOS or do we go off the snails pace processing date in August it will be 1 year
i-485 ND 8/7/05 Miami is working on Jan07 04 that means it will take another year and a half?

No, Eric. Don’t pay close attention to those “currently processing” dates.
My DO – Tampa, currently is working on cases filed 4/2004 (according to the website).
I filed for AOS in January 2005 and had my interview in January 2006, exactly one year later. And Beiwin, above, filed in April 2005 and has the interview scheduled in Miami next week. One year also, never mind that January 7, 2004…
Your priority day for your wife is current, since you are the citizen. So – keep your fingers crossed and you’ll have you interview somewhere this summer. ;)
Good luck!

I still dont understand what you mean by our priority day is current?
thanks

You are the US citizen, right? Then your/wife's priority date si current, you have nothing to do with it.

"An immigrant visa number will be immediately available for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens."

Priorty Date?

I am USC yes sir ree, but still i am bamboozled over what yall mean by
priority date, all i can find is processing times?
