Waiting for answer

I filed an asylum application after three years I recieved a recomended approval, I was fingerprinted and photografed at an ACS .I'm still waiting for a final decision. I need advice ,what do you suggest me.

I think they are doing background check. You can also call your Asylum office and find out the status of your case. It may possible that back ground check is cleared but final decision document sitting on desk.

I agree with Aniket19: there's agood chance that your file is just sitting somewhere forgotten. I waited for one year after the recommended approval and contacted the asylum office in charge of my case. Guess what? Approval letter and I-94's came in the mail a week later, which to me is a pretty good indication that the decision was made a someone just did not bother to mail it out. :mad:
