You might ask your attorney to followup with INS or you can call yourself. Sometimes you get correct answer from the IIO and sometimes you may not. Better to go through the Attorney. Just my 2 cents.

Does your AVM say "Your case is received on xxxxx, it will take proximity 365 to 540 days to process this kind of case....."? Call IIO to follow up.

Abhi tak so rahe the kya. Get in touch ith ur state\'s senator ASAP. Those guys have a dedicated staff to deal with INS matters. Thsy can help.
