Hi I arrived here in USA in march 2000 . In 2001 I applied for asylum and was denied, then my case was appealed in 9th circuit. Then I received the decision from the 9 circuit that my asylum was denied and I got voluntary departure letter. Now I am married to a US Citizen we have a lawyer helping with our case.
My I-130 was approved and I got working card from a petition. Now the case is been re-opened in 9th circuit for petition case.

Anybody with similar case ? How long does it usually take so i can apply for I-485 ? Any info would help,,,Thank you so much,,,,

Not a clue but good luck. Nice was it easy to reopen your case? So after 6 years you can reopen your case??? What state are you in? I myself am trying to reopen my case.

Thanks, Mike.

I'm in GA., actually the asylum case was denied to re-open but our lawyer's response was to combine asylum and petition case for the judge to look at all info. at once.
