Waiting after interview in Boston

My RD is 01/23/02.

I changed employer in Nov '02 and informed INS ( AC-21).

My case was transferred from VSC to Boston on 09/10/2003.I had my interview on 11/10/2003. At that time I just had my 2nd FP. So the officer said the results of background check results were not ready.I contacted local congressman's office in Apr'04. I was told an officer will be assigned.It's almost 2 months after that. Congrssman's office also told me not to contact them and they will inform me if anything happens.

Anyone in similar situation ?Please suggest if you think something I can do (pls remember already contacted congressman) ?

I talked to a lady in FBI (304-625-5590). She told me FP results were received and sent back to INS on the same day and it was ok. She told me to contact FBI (202-324-2399) to find info regarding Name Check. I already knew the number and have been trying to leave a message for last 2 days but without any luck.The voice mailbox is full all the time.Should I send a fax to 202-324-3367 ? If yes, what should be content of the letter?
