Waiting 13 years.

I just found out that i need to wait 13 years for my priority date to be current,
My priority date is 2005 and those of 1993 are barely there.
What can I do while i wait? can be I sponsored by a company if its faster process?
My brother got it easy, he was under 21 when my dad got his citizenship.

Yes. You can have family- and employment-based petitions in progress at the same time, and obtain the green card based on whichever one becomes current first.
