Waited 7 months after I passed the interview in St. Louis, MO

I passed the interview exam back in early Oct. 2006 (St. Louis).

I checked the processing dates of St. Louis on USCIS's website. As of 4/18/07, it stated: "Now Processing Cases with Receipt Notice Date of: June 13, 2006" for N-400. Is the receipt notice same as the one from I-797C (mine is 05/08/06), Notice of Action? Or is it referring to another document's notice date? (such as my interview date)

If it's referring to I-797C's notice number, does that mean I should expect to receive a letter from the court soon?

Your answer would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes that's what it refers to. An 8 month wait is unnatural after an interview (esp after May 2006, when they supposedly only schedule interviews after name checks ahve been processed).

You should start being proactive about it. Contact your US senators or reps. You can also file a lawsuit to force them to respond. Refer to the sticky thread about lawsuits. You can file one if you haven't received a decision 4 months after your interview.
