What a relief! Finally 485 got approved. ND - Sept\'99, FP-July\'00
RFE (For Employment letter) issued 23 Dec\'00, Replied on 21st Jan\'01.
Approved on 5th Feb\'01 and got it stamped y\'day.
Here\'s my PP stamping experience -
Reached Hartford at 8:30am. Walked into INS building. Told the lady at the entrance that I need to get my PP stamped. She gave me a token and asked me to wait for my turn. By 8:40am, my turn came and went to the counter and submitted my original approval and passoprt & PP photoes. She took the fingerprints and stamped on my PP and said that I\'ll get my GC by mail.
She didn\'t even take my EAD/AP. (On the whole spent less than 2 minutes at the counter) Was out by 8:45 and Phew... what a long long journey it had been to come to this stage!
DotCom revolution is over, the economy is turning bad and i think i\'ve missed the boat to mint money :-(
