Hello I have a question. While filing the H1B, does the company have to check with the local state prevailing wage by filing any forms to get the wage determination?

OK I found it, but my wage that I am receiving is lower 10,000 than what said on there. What can I do? DOes this mean my LCA could get rejected?

Did you check on the different levels for the salaries?

Yes I did. I only looked for Level I, which is exactly what it is for my position as a programmer. I am so clueless now. Do we all have to go through that Online Wage Library? or there are other sources that we can provide when fill out that form? Like salary.com?

Which source of salary did you use for your LCA? I am in the same situation as yours, my prevailing wage on the online library is 15K above my curent salary. I need a good wage survey to be able to renew my H-1B.
