WAC03-Stillpending----Security check

. My RD is Sept 2002 and 485 still pending . Latest enquiry says it is in some security check and also that my case is in Eb3 and until some "retrogression" something . I dont even know what that term is .

Anyone in similar state or know what this "retro" stuff is and how it affects I-485 status ?
 
Well it all started last year
In May 2004 they sent an RFE request which we responded the same month
In DEc 2004 they sent the request again for RFE as they lost it
In Feb 2005 they again sent the request since they lost it again
Finally now that we followed up and escalted in Div 12 the trouble shooting section of CSC we found out that there are 2 issues
a) Some retro shi$ is happening . I appreciate if someone told me what the hell is this retor shi$
b) Second issue is that they are doing some extra security clearence . This is not the FBI name check .that is completed

That retro thing is new, they stopped processing EB3 485 cases until
October 2005 as the visa numbers are not available. So most probably your
case cannot be approved before October. See visa bulletin for June or July.

Is your case EB3 ?
What's your country of chargeability ?
What's your (labor) PD ?

Depending on these, you'll understand whether retrogression affects you and if so how badly.
