Me and my wife's 485s (WAC02110, EB3) got approved today, Sept 2. Just got the e-mail confirmation ("This case has been approved. On September 2, 2004, an approval notice was mailed...")
Can't remember all the requirements/documents we sent or applied for (out of joy, perhaps =) ), but here is what I remember, mostly from more recent events:
Receipt Date - FEB 2002
1st FP - MAR 2002
2nd FP - JAN 2004
2nd AP - approved JUL 29 2004
RFE - generated JUL 30 2004 (paystubs, 2003 tax returns)
485 Approved - SEP 02 2004
Somewhere between those dates we applied for the 1st AP, and 2 EADs each. Both fingerprintings were done earlier than scheduled at the San Jose application support center.
The RFE was most likely triggered by our application of the AP (advanced parole). Our lawyers sent the RFE documents 9 days before approval.
I've been a long time lurker, and I am thankful for this forum and its members for giving us hope that all the waiting will finally end.
Hopefully this approval gives some of that same hope to those under a similar WAC series and are still waiting.
