WAC02-111-***** Approved! - Now what?

Hello All,

My I-485 (Wac02-111-*****) has been approved.

On the approval notice, it mentions to go to the local INS office to complete the processing for the Alien Registration Card with fingerprints and signature. What exactly do we need to carry with ourselves?

Receipt Date and Question on InfoPass

Hello,

My I-485 RD was 02/13/02.

Do I need an INS InfoPass to go to the local INS office for stamping? If so, how do I get that? What is it for?

And when was it approved. 2nd FP and RFE details, please. I am waiting to get the RFE in mail which was generated on May 11th. WAC02111......
 
2nd FP but no RFE

2nd FR done in Jan 04. No RFE. Straight approval. Got approval notice in mailbox.

Congratulations,

You need your approval notice, your photos (make sure they are according to regulations), your valid passport, and any recently issued immigration documents.

Get in line early. Eat a good breakfast :) Be prepared to wait 2-5 hours depending on the day of the week and local office.

Once you have been finger printed, you will get your stamp (temp. proof) of permanent residence. Your card will be in the mail within the next 3-4 weeks.

You are one step closer to U.S. citizenship.
