WAC-03-111-5**** Approved!!!

This is my first post here, as I am a silent observer for quite a while. This forum does help me a lot!

Just give you guys another data point. We got the approval email this morning (Sunday) at 9:02am, and I just checked the USCIS website to confirm it. Looks like they are working during weekend (as I do:-) to get all the backlog cases through.

I applied for the EB1-OR (forgot the I-140 approval date but should be around the end of 2002). We didn't do con-current at all, as the lawyer said it didn't help.

My LUD history is 6/18, 7/9, 7/12, 7/17 (approval date). My wife's LUD history is only 6/18 and 7/17 (approval date). No RFE, two APs and EADs for both my wife and myself.

We did the FP on 4/26/03 and it will expire on 7/26/04. I did send the 1st level fax inquiry about the status of I485, after reading another guy's post here (also around WAC03111) about it helps to send fax inquiry as the FP is expiring. I think the fax did help the case.

Congrats buddy... Can you please post the content of the fax inquiry for FP and the fax number... I like to fax one for me.

The fax number I am using is the 1st level fax inquiry (I believe it is 949-389-3055).

What I wrote in the fax is something like "I would like to check the status of my I-485 application as my finger print will expire on July 2004". Just this sentence. I didn't have much hope that this fax will have any effect when I did it so it is quite informal and I hand-wrote all the information required on the form, but hinds sight seems suggest it is quite useful. I talked with three friends last night (two were through LC, one were through EB1-OR, all working in the same company as myself), who submitted 485 at least half a year earlier than mine, and none of them got appoved yet.
