Can't remember my exact details but

ND - around Feb 16th 2002

Finger prints some how got delayed until Nov 2002, (they didn't send me a notice, and the lawyer had to query them).

Case transfered Dec 19th 2003 to San Jose.
Jan 22nd 2003 - 2nd finger print notification arrived
Jan 23rd 2003 - Interview notice arrived

Feb 24th - interview @ san jose, approved.

I had a DUI. They asked me if I had ever been arrested. I said yes. They said, what for? I said DUI. They said Don't do it again. and that was pretty much it, on to the next subject....

The interview went well, pretty straightforward.

It looks some strange how to get GC your series... surprising...

If that's true.... I hope whenever I'll get GC.

By the way did you get RFE before approval?

Thanks for the congrats. In response to your answers my country of origin is UK, and yep, I really am 02-119 series. Go figure. Guess I got very lucky. I didn't have an RFE, however my colleagues all of whom had their original FP's done around June 02 have received 2nd FP's (we all filed at about the same time). However because my original FP's were done 5-6 months late, I still had some time left on mine, so perhaps they figured that they may as well transfer me instead. It's all speculation, the other thing is that if you have any criminal case (DUI for me) then you will get an interview. Who knows.

The CSC had transferred a lot of cases to district offices in mid December 2003.
For most cases transferred to San Jose, "transfer" looks like "expedite" as result.
