Hello

I got RFE today asking for

1) Signed copies of your Form(s) 1040 for the 2001 tax year, along with all of the Schedules and Attachments for that year;

2) Copies of your Forms W-2 for the above year and copies of your three most recent pay stubs; and

3) If you were unemployed or employed on a part time basis for any of the period requested above, provide a statement indicating such, along with an explanation as to how you were able to afford your living expenses.

#3 is N/A for me. I sent all the documents today to the lawyer.

Which category??

EB1/EB2/EB3 ?? Looks like INS is sending RFE's randomly. If our case is assigned to a very strict officer, we shud expect RFE:( :confused:
 
What period?

What is the period they mentioned with this?

"If you were unemployed or employed on a part time basis for any of the period requested above ..."
 
EB2

Mine is EB2. I did my FP on 04/03 at San Jose.

I guess above period means 2001. That's what my lawyer said.

This seems like a pretty standard and easy RFE to respond to. You must be glad that your case is being looked at instead of the file languishing in some dusty bundle on some damp shelf in a dark room.

I am sure you will get your GC pretty soon now.
