dr25: Because K Li did not receive his/her FP notice,
I was in the same boat. Howerve my FP was taken and
procesed in the local INS office even I did not receive
the FP notice when I visit the local INS office in person
on Jan 03, 2002.

I have faxed the INS God-know how many times and tried every single number for Div.IV. No result! In addition, my attorney refused to write a letter for me becasue she think it\'s normal for such a long-term waiting, She think that going to local INs is just going to confuse the central INS. She is the attorney who my company hired so I have no control over her. Should I forget about her advice and go there anyway, or just keep sending fax every week to all fax numbers. Thanks.

Yes, you should go there anyway!
Yesterday, I visited the local INS office again, and
I wrote the letter by myself. I found that my case
was stuck in the background checks. So go ahead.
For the fax inquiry, it would be better to send the
inquiry to the 3rd Inquiry (Center Director) and
the Level 2 inquiry.

I want to hear some good news from some of us. Hope clouds will clear and see the sun one day. I am sending a letter to INS through my attorney about changing my job and new address. She told me that if we do that atleast INS will pay the attention on our file and cleared the dust, hope so. May be our case is assigned to a person who is sanctioned terrorist VASAs recently, if he/she is still busy in processing of such VISA\'s then probably we have to wait till he/she clear off all the backlogs.
