I have been in US on H1B from Jun2000, and i have lca-w2 mismatch for the years 2002(30%less),2003(15%less), i was on bench and hence the salary difference. I am getting married in Feb, and plan to apply in chennai consulate for H4 Visa. I would like to know what excuse to give if the consulate asks to explain the w2-lca mismatch. I am with the same employer since Jun2000.
Is is possible that i can avoid chennai consulate and go somewhere else for h4 stamping, i am from chennai and my fiancee is from bangalore. What is the eligibility criteria to go for stamping to some other consulate.
