W2 and tax returns for I485 filing

I'm preparing documents for filing I485, based on just approved EB1-OR petition at CSC filed by my company. Are my W2 and tax return forms are required for I485 filing? It seems my company's attorney didn't ask for them, but I saw a list on some immigration website mentioned them for I485. thanks in advance.

No longer a requirement for several years now.

Doesn't stop them from asking for it later in an RFE, though!

When filing my I485 on October 2001, I insisted my laywer to send my W2 and tax returns. I think he also sent company tax return.
Later I received RFE from INS for Employer Verification letter only.
BCIS ussually send RFE for such things, so better to provide them in advance.

They always send RFE for new EVL letter if it 12 monthes old. So it is a good idea to send new EVL letter after 11 monthes from notice date by yourself in form of amended petition.
