VWP Advice

Hello all,

I have a quick question regarding VWP and the 90 day time limit. I am planning on going to the US next summer for roughly 4 weeks. I will be booking a return flight for a specific date. However, my question is - if I want to extend my visit (still remaining within the 90 day limit) and change flights, can I? Bearing in mind I would have told the POE Officer at the airport that I'd be staying for only four weeks. Is the intended date of departure noted anywhere at immigration?

Thanks for your help!

Provided you are granted the number of days you wish to extend your trip by, then you should be good to go (ie, you're given the full 90 days then you'll be fine).
Sometimes people may be granted less, though this is very rare and only usually happens if the POE officer has suspicions about the entrant.
So, long story short, provided you leave within the date stamped upon entry (usually 90 days from entry) then you're good to go.
