VSV, I know you have done your second FP already. Any more news after that, like if INS had recd your FP from FBI, assigning your case to an officer etc? Yesterday I gave my second FP and joined you and others who are waiting for approvals after second FP.

Desparado, what about your case? Did they mention any reason why they are still not approving your case?

Sunny got his approval recently. I think Bhajan is still waiting for it.

Welcome to the final frontier (hopefully)! Not yet. I\'ve not called them yet to find out if our case has been assigned to an adjudication officer. But per FBI,they cleared it as of 5/14/01 after I gave my FPs on 5/9/01 which means a month has elapsed. However,TSC is still busy convincing the idiots at the senator\'s office that they are processing 7/99 cases right now. To add to my misery,TSC came up with same month in the latest processing times released yesterday. I faxed a personal request to TSC last night telling them about the innumerable cases being approved who\'s RD/ND/PD are much newer than mine. Also,I requested them to assign the case ASAP! Man,I am waiting for a miracle to be honest with you!

Hi desi90210,

My First FP expired May First Week since then I have been
Faxing, Calling TSC for my second FP redo and I haven\'t
yet got any indication when I will be receiving my 2nd FP.

This whole process is soooooooooo agonizing to me.

I faxed a letter to senator and he replied back asking me to wait
until August 1st. If I didn\'t get any reponse by then, he will
check with INS regarding my case.

I don\'t know whatelse to do to get my 2nd FP other than TSC
showers some blessings.

Since you guys have finished your 2nd FP you should get it soon.
Just be patient for some more time.

I think you might get your approval anytime now. Look at Sunny\'s case. Your second FP dates(both FP date and cleared date) are so similar to Sunny\'s. He did them during mid-April and got cleared around Apr23 or so.He got his case approved on Jun 6. I think you are almost there now. Keep following up regularly through faxes/phones which might make them assign your case to an officer. Don\'t give up & keep bugging them. Yes, I understand your frustration especially when the senator\'s office keeps repeating the idiotic stuff without any real help.

My first FP expired around Aprl 10. After repeated requests for FP (thourgh faxes/phone calls .... I called every other day and bugged them for FP redo notice). The IIOs said they had informed ASC on May 10 regarding my FP redo reschedule. From May 17 onwards, I started bugging them for FP notice. Finally, I got the FP redo notice on June 11. I was supposed to go and give FP(at a different centre) on July 19, but I went yesterday itself to the same FP center that I went first time and gave FP without any problem.

Hopefully you will get your FP notice soon.

    My fp expired on 05/15 as per tsc IIO\'s.I tried in all ways(by sending faxes,apporaching senator\'s off personally.),to
get the approval from TSC,before FP Expiry,but failed.I remember you telling that there is a grace period of 1 month.
I started faxing repeatedly for FP reschedule since yesterday.I got fax back response\'request forwarded for FP reschedule\'.
I cannot believe TSC anymore,as I got 7 or 8 similar faxes from TSC.Do I have to go to senator for Fp reschedule too?
Any idea?

I don\'t see any harm in approaching senators. But you need to have a valid reason to seek senator\'s help(like for example: if TSC is already processing past your RD/ND and you didn\'t get approval because of expired FP etc). But in my case it was my faxes/phone calls that has made TSC send me a FP redo notice. Address your fax to the director and explain the need for a redo notice. I got a fax back from him saying that my fax was forwared to an IIO to arrange for FP notice. That fax came to me on May 17th and I got the FP notice on Jun 14. In between I did talk to them many times for it. So, it took nearly two months from the date of expiry of my first FP to receive my second FP redo notice even though I tried a lot by bugging them regularly.
