VSC's response to expedite request?

It's a simple form letter that apologizes the delay and offers no hope. It doesn't even mentions my expedite request, not even a denial.

What can I do? Should I resend the request? Or call for another inquiry?

Thanks.

You can try calling them thru your spouse (assuming you have that option) and check the status and initiate enquiry. Other option is to go thru ur senator.

Don't have anyone else on the file. Already have an inquiry last Oct. and a comgressman inquriy supposedly every 30 days. Can I call them again and tell them FBI name check cleared last month? Or it doesn't make any difference?

Thanks.

Honestly, I personally think that it shouldn't make any difference now. Our cases are so old that if they look at the ND, they should approve the cases, but they are just approving all the recent cases and keeping our cases as Memoirs. So there is no point unnessarily breaking our heads against them. This is my opinion.

needhelp1, I can very well understand your frustration. I have been in the same boat not too long ago (actually only one week before). And I am not saying that I have found a magic wand. All I am saying is that I kept trying... whether that really helped my case or not.. only god knows. However, it gave me some semblance that atleast I was doing all that was possible from my end.

My best wishes and prayers are with you.

LiveAndLetLive, when you mentioned about talking to senator does it matter if it is a congressman too. Just last week i went to my local congressmans office and explaind them situation. The immi help person there said that he will send an email to liason at Vermont INS and he will be able to provide further info once he receives that reply. Does this help or is there any other procedure to be followed. He took copies of 485-receipt notices for me and my wife.
Let me know if there are specific things these congressmans office supposed to do or a different approach. I gave him copies of FBI nameshcek response too and approved 140 .
thanks
