I\'m in the similar situation as yours. I did leave my sponsering employer long back as he could not find a project. As my old employer is willing to provide letter and rehire me after GC, I\'m taking the same steps as you have taken.
Did your RFE and 485 get approved?
Did you use another H1 or I-140 as alternative?
