I didn\'t have my original DOB , so sent in an Affidavit with Magistrate\'s Signature.

RFE Received by the INS :- May 25th 2001
The AVM went from 0 days to 540 days ( that did \'coz some concern )

I 485 Approved:- July 11rd 2001 AVM says notice was sent to you.

Chutney and all the other guys who plan to attend the get together at Akbar , Could you please use this line , to propose a toast "To the people who\'ve been thru and are going thru this ordeal, To our future, may we be successful in all our future endeavours , without this miserable wait ! " , Amen !

  Can u explain more on Birth Certificate ? You got the affidavit made in India / Usa ? Who gave the affidavits ? Ur parents ?

Rajiv,
       1) I didn\'t have my Original DOB. So my parents got an Affidavit from the Metropolitan Magistrate with the exact spelling of my name(that I filed my GC as ) and the date of birth on a 20 Rupee Stamp Paper in India.
     2) My parents also sent me another affidavit with their signatures mentioning the same( which was just notarized before a notary public).
