VSC to TSC xfer, automatic FP done

The subject is a little cryptic, so let me explain.
My case got transferred from VSC 2 TSC some time back.
Now I'm hearing rumors that they're storing FPs and automatically checking them every 15 months and hence multiple FPs are not necessary.
Is this limited to the TSC or all of them?
Is there anyone reading this msg who had their case transferred from VSC to TSC and found ou that their FPs are current, even though they were given more than 15 months back?

Search on this thread, lots of cases transferred from VSC to TSC including myself in Early-2007 received 2nd FP notices from TSC.
Mine 1st FPs were done in 04-14-2005, then 2nd were done in 5-5-2007.
 
Apparently they started storing FP's staring the middle of last year, so your case might not apply here.
 
Unless this "rumor" is officially verified, I would not believe it. I don't think they can store your fingerprints for any length of time without notifying you and getting your consent (unless federally mandated - like if you have a criminal record).
