Hi, I called VSC today .. and the lady after checking my case history on the computer said that she has given my information to her supervisor. and that she will look that why its taking a long time after the reques was approved... she also mentioned that I will get a response with in two weeks.

My question is did any one had a similar experiance and will it really get a replywithin two weeks
 
Call them back

It is more likely they will give the decision on the case in next 2-3 weeks (max 30 days) if VSC Officer has told you and your NameCheck etc is all ready (i guess that since she did not metion about this, your name check myst be cleared)

Call them back if you do not receive any decision in next 2 weeks.

At what time did you call VSC? because when I called, Officer just asked me to wait ... you are lucky atleast officer has sent your case ..

Did you get any information previously about your name check being completed? I am wondering if they have started working on cases where they have name check results but have not updted teir computer systems (I think my case falls into such a bucket).

If you have any info on your name check trail please post it or send me a private message.

I just called the VSC. The lady checked my case and said I should call back in 30 days. I asked her about name check and she said she is unable to tell.

Well i did notice that the lady didnt say any thing about that I need to wait or call after 30 days... after a long hold may be 10 min when she came back she said that she has given the information to her supervisor and that 485 is a slow pocess but I will hear a response with in two weeks. As far as the name check is concerned I did get an email from FBI that it has been cleared .. this is when they use to reply ... now they dont.

The last time I had called the lady said the same thing and I did get fingerprint notice. I hope this time its a good news ....
