VSC processing times: 11/6/02

I don't go with published processing times anymore.
For example, it says on the list that they are processing EAD c9 with receipt date up to 09/23/02. My EAD c9 had RD 10/03/02 and ND 10/05/02 and got approved in 3 weeks.
On the other hand, the list indicates CURRENT for AP; my AP that was submitted together with the EAD has not been approved. Still same 30-60 days message in the case status.
And for I-485, we have seen a lot of Oct RD cases that have been approved.
I understand that the processing dates are just a guideline though ...
