Which one is better, SLOW or NO approvals at all? It's good to know that VSC is telling us that they're still processing I-485.

What is JIT stands for ?

"Just In Time", it means they're processing cases up to this date. I read a long time ago that it's a common practice that service centers are allowed to process cases up to 30 days beyond the posted date. I do hope that this is still valid, looking from the past few weeks' experience that many cases filed in late December (while the posted JIT date was still 12/03/2001) were being adjudicated.

it is like

there was this old man who was couting his last days and he never done any good work, any favor to any body in life, asks his son to do something so that after his death people call him good man..
after he dies, his son sits outside of his home and slaps, hits every body with a stick in head those nearby .. and people started saying " your father was good man than you..."

we are in the same situation...

Very good question!
The heading of the column in the Processing Time report says: .... these receipt notice dates ...

That, I believe, translates into ND.
However, we have seen evidence the confusion between RD and ND among the IIO themselves. So .. learning from the fact that the difference between RD/ND for cases filed in Dec 2001 and beyond is not that great (2 weeks at the most, on average), it should be safe to assume that RD and ND will get more and more irrelevant.

(Many cases filed between Sep-Nov, 2001 had huge gaps between the RDs and NDs.)
